Hey if you happen to work on this any more, my biggest suggestion would be to add either throws or some other way of getting past crouch blocking easily.  (Jumping attacks tend to whiff on crouching opponents it seems.)

As it is, the game becomes too defensive and leans pretty heavily to landing a single hit and timing out being the optimal way to win vs other human opponents.

Indeed, the current attack mode is quite monotonous. I will try adding new systems or attack methods to avoid this situation.

So I finally managed to give this game a try.

I like the combos when pressing multiple punch or kick attacks.

The fight animations are well done and the UI is simple but works well. Nice work!

I also have some improvement suggestions:

- Jumping feels very "floaty". Maybe increase the gravity a bit?

- It's possible to "stand" on top of the opponent after jumping LOL.

- The first punch feels a bit slow. The animation could be slightly faster.

- It would be nice to be able to "air combo" after the opponent is launched into the air (after an explosion)

- The BGM does not loop cleanly. It seems there's a silence at the loop point.

- Add logarithmic calculation to the volume sliders to fix the low sensitivity on the low end and high sensitivity on the high end.

- UI does not scale properly on an ultrawide monitor

- Add a SFX to UI interactions to provide player feedback

- Consider adding keyboard navigation to the UI. It feels a bit awkward to have to use the mouse when most of the game is played with the keyboard.

Regarding online multiplayer, make sure your game architecture has been designed to separate the server and client components from the beginning. Otherwise it will be very painful to make the change later.

Good game! I hope you keep updating it! :D

Thank you for your suggestions, these are very helpful for future improvement. I can't guarantee that I can completely improve the game, but I will make sure to continue to update the game, although the progress may be slow. haha.

wow, thx for your video. I found the game has a lot to improve

and more content in the future for sure

Interesting project!

I'll give it a try later for sure.

Also, don't forget credit the original creators of the assets you use (those not made by yourself) as well as to mention that COVER Corp. is the copyright owner of the hololive talents featured in the game!

Good luck!

Thank you for your reply and suggestion, these help me a lot. I will make sure I follow the license of assets and hololive fan work guidelines.
